Even if you are a social worker or a doctor or if you belong to any profession in the world, the charm of cinema is hard to resist. But a retired doctor and a known social worker Dr. Bhojappa Motiram Jadhav’s passion for cinema isn’t restricted to just watch and enjoying them but he himself has now become a producer of one such film! He is super excited for the release of his upcoming film ‘Romanticc Tukde’. Dr. Bhojappa Motiram Jadhav always wanted to associate himself with movies. Now he collaborated as an associate producer of ‘Romanticc Tukde’.
The cinematic journey of Dr. Bhojappa Motiram Jadhav began after he got retired as first-class medical officer in the state of Maharashtra. Post retirement he completed his diploma course in screenplay writing and started writing scripts. Till now he has written many such stories which includes ‘Dr. Bhujang Ek Soch’, ‘Ek Adarsh Doctor’ and many more.
Currently, he is looking forward for the release of ‘Romanticc Tukde’ as an associate producer. The film is based on the nostalgia about the film industry itself where it is shown how the era of 90’s was a golden period for Hindi cinema where people with family and friends used to flock to theatres to watch their favourite films. In those days, ‘Houseful’ signs were norms in cinema halls. But sadly, at a later stage cinemas one by one started getting shut because of various reasons.
While talking about his upcoming film ‘Romanticc Tukde’ as an associate producer, Dr. Bojappa Motiram Jadhav said, “Romanticc Tukde is a great film. The subject and the emotions it carries are unique and unusual from the rest of the films. It not only makes you nostalgic and entertains you but it will also make the audiences think hard about the golden period of cinema. The director Varadraj Swami has done commendable job with this one. I am a big fan of his visualisation, storytelling and nuanced way of film making.”
Recently, Dr. Bhojappa has completed writing a script for a feature film, which he has titled as ‘Dastavez’ planning to produce the film under his own banner.
Like cinema, Dr. Bhojappa Motiram Jadhav is equally passionate about his social work and philanthropic endeavours he was been doing since last many years. He believes that there cannot be any virtue bigger than helping people in need but everyone doesn’t possess this wonderful quality and people are seldom considerate of other’s needs and rarely people offer to help people in distress.
Dr. Bhojappa Motiram Jadhav has served as first class medical officer in the health department in Maharastra. As a medical officer he fulfilled his duties in almost every city and district of Maharashtra. As a medical officer urge to help and treat poor and needy people in his individual capacity. Despite serving as a doctor in government hospitals in the state, he never shied away from going out of his way and help the society at large. Simultaneously as a large-hearted doctor and a generous social worker he offered his services towards Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Health Insurance Scheme started by Maharashtra government for the treatment of poor patients. As a doctor he willing offered to treat poor patients and helped them to make their insurance cards. He made sure that they all possess health insurance cards so that it would help them during their treatment.
Although, Dr. Bhojappa Motiram Jadhav is very happy and excited working with director Varadraj Swami for his upcoming venture ‘Romanticc Tukde’.
