New Delhi (India), July 15: His Excellency Mr. Dilshod Akhatov Khamidovich, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, held a productive meeting with Mr. Bijender Goel, Founder, Modern Pythian and founding Secretary General of the International Pythian Council to explore the possibility of collaboration between the Uzbekistan Government and the Modern Pythian Games. This potential partnership aims to promote tourism, boost the economy, and create opportunities for the people of Uzbekistan and establish Uzbekistan as a cultural leader, and engage in cultural diplomacy on a global scale. The Modern Pythian Games, drawing inspiration from the ancient Greek Pan Hellenic Pythian Games, have recently been revived after a remarkable 2,600-year history. With a focus on celebrating physical prowess, cultural exchange, and sportsmanship, the Pythian Games offer a unique platform for unifying the world through arts, cultures, and traditional games, symbolized by the prestigious “Pythian Games” and the esteemed “Pythian Peace Award.”
