Saksham Sarda, co-founder and CTO of Runable.
New Delhi [India], October 30: A website can look complete before it is ready to use. Beyond the design are questions about publishing, making changes and connecting the functions a business needs. At Runable, those questions form part of the work led by co-founder and CTO Saksham Sarda.
Sarda heads the company’s technical direction alongside co-founder and CEO Umesh Kumar. Runable announced a $21 million Series A in 2026 and operates across AI-assisted creation, website publishing and business tools.
Website building offers a concrete example of the challenges involved. A user may begin with a description of a business or an idea. Turning that request into a public website requires decisions about appearance, content and functionality. The work continues when the user wants to change something after launch.
For people without a technical background, those stages can introduce unfamiliar tools and terminology. An interface that makes the first step straightforward still needs to support the steps that follow.

Runable brings creation and publishing into the same product. Sarda’s role as CTO places him within the engineering work needed to connect that experience, from the initial project to subsequent changes.
The distinction matters because a website is rarely a finished, static object. Businesses update their services, change information and add functions as their needs develop. The ability to revise a site is therefore part of its usefulness, rather than a separate concern after publication.
AI changes how users begin that process, but it does not remove the need for dependable software underneath. A generated design still has to become a functioning site, and later changes need to reach the version people visit.
For Runable, this ties its AI features to a long-standing software problem: helping people maintain something over time. For Sarda, it shapes the technical direction of a company whose product has to do more than produce a first draft.
