NEW DELHI: Launching a scathing attack on Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi and INDIA bloc constituents for orchestrating continuous street protests and unwarranted confrontations against independent statutory bodies, Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon, National Secretary General of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), has termed their antics as desperate political posturing designed to undermine India’s democratic framework.

Reacting sharply to the opposition’s recent agitations and protests targeting the Election Commission leadership, Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon stated that Rahul Gandhi has made it a habitual strategy to disparage constitutional institutions whenever electoral outcomes and administrative processes fail to align with his party’s political ambitions. He emphasized that manufacturing artificial outrage and staging political gimmicks at historical sites like Raj Ghat only exposes the bankruptcy of constructive ideas within the opposition camp.

“It is deeply unfortunate that Rahul Gandhi and his allies continue to prioritize disruptive street politics over national progress. Constantly targeting independent constitutional authorities and questioning the integrity of robust democratic systems is an insult to the 140 crore citizens of this country who repose their faith in stable governance,” Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon asserted.

Reiterating his firm support for the transparent, development-oriented roadmap of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration, Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon warned that the public is fully aware of the opposition’s hollow rhetoric. He urged Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders to respect institutional decorum and engage responsibly in parliamentary democracy rather than holding public machinery hostage for petty political gains.
