NEW DELHI: Expressing deep concern over the paralyzing impact of the ongoing protests led by the Congress party and the CJP in the national capital, Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon, National Secretary General of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), has strongly demanded their immediate withdrawal to restore normalcy and protect the day-to-day lives of common citizens.

Taking a firm stand, Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an internationally respected leader whose global stature and credibility remain completely unassailable. He noted that orchestrating administrative disruptions to target the Prime Minister only ends up harming the nation and its people.

Highlighting the grave humanitarian consequences of the ongoing agitation, he pointed out that the public infrastructure has been severely compromised. “The current situation is actively endangering lives. Metro services are halted, critical ambulance movements are blocked, and emergency medical services are suffering because doctors and healthcare staff are unable to reach hospitals on time. The common people of Delhi are being forced to pay the price for this unnecessary political confrontation,” Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon stated.

Holding the protest organizers directly accountable for the deteriorating law-and-order situation and the resulting public distress, he urged the government to take stringent legal action. He demanded the arrest of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke under the NIA Act, accusing them of intentionally creating chaos, misleading the public, and systematically damaging the peaceful fabric of the city.

Issuing a final ultimatum, Amb. Dr. Rajeev Menon announced that if these disruptive protests are not called off immediately to ensure the smooth movement of emergency services and citizens, he will file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court of India against the Congress and CJP to safeguard the fundamental rights and lives of the common people.
