On the birthday of N. Chandrababu Naidu, a remarkable story of compassion unfolded at Praja Vedika. What could have been a routine celebration turned into a humanitarian milestone — a Mega Blood Donation Camp that will continue to save lives long after the day ended.
Under the leadership of Amilineni Surendra Babu, the camp was organized in coordination with SRC Trust, NTR Trust, Indian Red Cross Society, Rural Development Trust, and the Government Hospital. Employees, TDP and alliance leaders, and party workers came forward voluntarily, united by a single purpose — to give the gift of life.

The result was extraordinary:
A record collection of 7,439 units of blood.
Each unit has the potential to save multiple lives. Even by a conservative estimate, this one initiative will help save at least 15,000 lives — mothers, children, accident victims, and patients in critical need. Hospitals will feel its impact for weeks and months, as these donations become lifelines for those fighting for survival.
This was more than a camp — it was a powerful demonstration of how leadership rooted in compassion can mobilize society. It showed that the greatest tribute to a leader is not celebration, but service; not applause, but action.

Reacting to the initiative, Anil Kumar of Discover Ananthapuram expressed deep appreciation. He said it was heart-touching to see an MLA leading such a humanitarian cause, emphasizing that more elected representatives should come forward to organize similar life-saving initiatives.
He conveyed his heartfelt thanks to everyone involved and added, “My respect to Surendra Babu garu for showing that public leadership can also mean saving lives. Acts of humanity like this inspire society and set an example for others to follow.”

Indeed, this Mega Blood Donation Camp stands as a shining example of compassionate leadership.
It was not just about numbers.
It was about hope.
It was about humanity.
7,439 donors…
One visionary initiative…
At least 15,000 lives saved…
And countless hearts inspired. ❤️🩸
