Mandar Cholkar has written a very nice song and Praveen has given a very beautiful melody and music. I felt very happy while singing this.

Heard countless songs about Swami Samarth. But I didn’t want to sing like bhajan, kirtan. Then my musician and childhood friend Praveen Kuvar had a discussion with him and then a meeting with Mandar Cholkar, a leading singer in Marathi.
After much discussion, the core of the song was decided and Shankar Mahadevan was chosen as the singer. Shankar Mahadevan means famous name in Hindi. Then we thought of giving Sufi touch to this song.
