Yogita Walke, a professor from Goa has emerged victorious at Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2023 pageant

New Delhi (India), September 8: Professor Yogita Walke has been crowned Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2023 at the sparkling finale held in New Delhi at ITC Welcom hotel on 12th August 2023.

Yogita is a resident of the beautiful state of Goa and works there as a professor. Speaking to the media, she mentioned that as a teenager she always dreamt of winning a beauty pageant. But she had different career plans to focus on her higher education and complete her Masters in Biotechnology. She also qualified the prestigious CSIR NET exam in the subject Life Sciences with All India Rank 32.

Competing in a national level event such as Mrs. India Queen of Substance is not just about outer beauty. You are judged on your fitness, health, intelligence, poise and self-confidence. And she had to prepare herself for all these aspects.

The contest was organized across 3 days with 34 participants showcasing their talents in various rounds. Speaking about the finale, she mentions that it was a thrilling moment when celebrity anchor Mr. Aman Verma announced her name as the winner and she was crowned by none other than the famous Bollywood actor Mr. Kunal Kapoor, in the presence of the distinguished panel of judges. She also won the sub-title of Mrs. Intelligence in the same finale.

Winning the title of Mrs. India Queen of Substance 2023 has opened up new avenues for her in the areas of modelling, acting in movies/web series, and fashion designing. Someday, she would also like to represent India on an international platform as well.
