Aman Rathod, Goodwill ambassador of Valiant premier league shocked everybody when he decided to quit cricket and take Bodybuilding as his profession. Aman’s journey has been a roller coaster ride, he never wanted to become a cricketer, He joined cricket by Fluke. Later he played in Valiant premier league under Valiant volcano team (former Vice captain) for 3 consecutive years from 2011 – 2014.

In 2019, Aman decided to quit cricket completely and started his journey to be a professional Bodybuilder. Aman says cricket and body building can’t be compared with each other. As a bodybuilder my diet has changed completely, I purely rely on proteins which costs me around 2-3 lakhs per year. With bodybuilding, I was not able to make enough money. To manage my diet and other needs, I am working in an Automobile company as a senior manager. Winning a bodybuilding competition doesn’t make you rich overnight.

Aman’s recalls “My father used to do body building in the local competitions, I used to accompany him during the practice. I felt I wanted to become a sports person, No matter what. As a kid I was not sure about which sports I wanted to play”.

Aman has been awarded with NATIONAL’s ICON award for his achievements in Bodybuilding and has been named as MR. VADODARA for the year 2021. Aman gets multiple invites of being a chief of guest for the events be it at a sports club, school or colleges but he regrets never winning any award.
