After that in 2009 he gains interest in the Renewable energy (Solar) through which he has designed various innovative and sustainable Solar Energy Projects for the development of rural village and people started recognizing him –The Solar Man of India.
To succeed professionally in the industry of Renewable Energy Sachin Shigwan started a social enterprise – Green India Initiative Pvt. Ltd. in August 2014 and he is serving as a director till date with all his capabilities Under his guidance, the organization undertook several highly successful projects, including the electrification of schools and villages, leaving a positive impact on the communities.
Mr. Sachin Shigwan’s selfless efforts caught the attention of the World Book of Records, an international organization based in London, dedicated to honouring extraordinary achievements. The organization meticulously verifies and acknowledges record-holders who have accomplished exceptional heights, thus inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.
Sachin Shigwan, MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS University and contributed towards the enhancement of rural underprivileged over a decade through solar energy. His founding organization Green India Initiative has developed more than 550+ Villages across 10+ divergent states in India by executing their CSR project in the rural development sector and Mr. Shigwan has worked in more than 500+ villages personally on ground. He has personally completed more than 150+ workshops (online/offline) and has trained more than 10,000+ like-minded people through Employee/Youth Solar Ambassador Program. India’s World Record has recognised The Solar Man of India- Mr. Sachin Shigwan for his incredible work in the field of Social sector. He has also received prestigious recognition from various platform as Earth Day Network Star by Earth Day. Org, Earth Champion by Sony BBC Earth & also as Sustainability Champions. Mr. Sachin has conferred various prestigious awards i.e., Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Professional Citizen Karmaveer Puraskar by Icongo, Top most Green Leader Awards (Globally), India’s Icon Awards, India 100 Future leaders, TEDx Speaker, etc. for his exceptional contribution towards designing many innovative & sustainable solar energy projects for the rural development.
