As part of the DLP – Dairy Livestock and Poultry Expo, a competition was held for different breeds of cows and buffaloes from India and abroad

Gandhi Nagar (Gujarat) [India] September 30: The leading exhibition on agricultural technology, the 13th edition of AgriAsia 2024, was successfully held from 20th to 22nd September 2024 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Under the theme “Experience AGRICULTURE with ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY,” this prestigious event showcased groundbreaking innovations in agricultural technology and provided valuable networking opportunities for professionals in the agricultural industry.

The exhibition attracted over 200 leading exhibitors and drew more than 90,000 visitors. Spanning three large halls and covering a total area of 15,000 square metres, the event provided a platform for showcasing cutting-edge technology, facilitating interactions with industry leaders, and promoting networking between distributors, dealers, and stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

The Dairy Livestock and Poultry Expo (DLP), held alongside AgriAsia 2024, further enriched the event by offering additional insights and opportunities in the agriculture and animal husbandry sectors. The expo featured various stalls displaying new technologies, improved methods, and useful information for agricultural producers and livestock breeders.

A highlight of the event was the competition for various breeds of cows and buffaloes, including the Kankrej, Gir, and Dangi cows, and the Bunny, Mehsani, and Jafarabadi buffaloes. The Kankrej GAY Mata, from Bhawani Breeding Farm, took first place. The winners were awarded prizes of ₹71,000 for first place, ₹55,000 for second place, and ₹31,000 for third place, as an incentive for excellence in breeding.

Special seminars were organised for agriculture and dairy farmers, along with live demonstrations of drone technology and animal shows, offering attendees hands-on experience with the latest advancements in the field.
