Indian Achievers’ Forum and Achievers’ World Host National Conclave on ‘Mission Viksit Bharat 2047’ in Delhi

New Delhi [India], March 21: Indian Achievers’ Forum, in association with Achievers’ World, successfully hosted the National Conclave on Monday, March 17, at prestigious The India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The summit was a grand celebration aimed to recognize and honour extraordinary individuals from all walks of life in achieving Viksit Bharat, with a special focus on the theme of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025 – “Accelerate Action.”

The occasion was graced by eminent chief dignitaries including Smt. Dharamshila Gupta, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Lata Wankhede, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), and Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Former Minister of State for External Affairs of India. The event also welcomed distinguished international guests and over 200 delegates, comprising business leaders, changemakers, CSR professionals, and industry experts from across India.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome speech of Ms. Bharti Sharma, Director – Achievers’ World, Editor-Travel Turtle. In her summit overview, she expressed the summit’s vision: “To celebrate the awe-inspiring achievements of individuals fortifying Viksit Bharat.”

Smt. Dharamshila Gupta, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), in her address to the vast gathering reinforced inclusivity in nation-building: “Viksit Bharat is not about isolation but becoming a global powerhouse, contributing to the world while ensuring its own economic and social security.”

Following her, Dr Lata Wankhede, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), highlighted the indispensable role of women in shaping Viksit Bharat 2047. “Garib, Yuva, Annadata, Nari – are the four pillars of Viksit Bharat 2047 and empowering each one of these four is crucial to materialize Viksit Bharat’s vision by 2047. Viksit Bharat cannot thrive if half its population is left behind.” she added.

Corroborating their sentiments, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, former Minister of State for External Affairs of India, encouraged viewing challenges as stepping stones towards national progress. “Achieving Viksit Bharat requires harnessing the potential of every citizen. Ensuring equal opportunities creates a ripple effect, influencing multiple dimensions of society and catalyzing progress across various sectors.” she said.

The summit detailed engaging conversations providing a robust platform to share their transformative journeys and experiences. Guest of Honour, Prof. Madhu Purnima Kishwar, Founder Editor, MANUSHI, shared her valuable expertise, while Prof. Pushpanjali Jha, Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi, facilitated an impromptu session, inviting attendees to take the stage and speak on their challenges, triumphs, and inspiring experiences in breaking barriers.

The event progressed with an engaging panel discussion on the theme ‘Achieving the Goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047.’ Moderated by Ms Bharti Sharma, Director, Achievers’ World, the discussion featured notable panelists who shed light on policy initiatives, societal contributions, and economic inclusion as key enablers of a nation’s progress.
