Four-day mega expo brings together participants from 90+ countries, 100+ Indian cities and 24 industry segments; 8,000+ business leads generated

New Delhi [India], June 26: Bharat Buildcon 2026 – One Nation, One Expo – concluded successfully at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi, emerging as India’s largest integrated business platform for the building materials, construction and infrastructure industry. Over four days, the exhibition facilitated business worth more than ₹400 crore, generated over 8,000 high-value business leads, and attracted more than 40,000 visitors, including manufacturers, exporters, architects, developers, contractors, policymakers, distributors and global sourcing professionals.

The inaugural edition witnessed participation from buyers and delegates representing over 90 countries and more than 100 Indian cities, creating one of the country’s largest international networking platforms for the construction and building materials ecosystem. More than 24 industry categories were represented, including ceramics, tiles, sanitaryware, bathware, hardware, cement, steel, plywood, laminates, paints, construction chemicals, electricals, machinery, furniture, natural stone and smart building technologies.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs, in the presence of Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, and Shri Parshottam Rupala, Member of Parliament. On the third day, the event received a major boost with the visit of Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, who remarked that the visitor turnout during the first two days had already surpassed the footfall witnessed during the complete duration of many comparable industry exhibitions.

A key strength of Bharat Buildcon 2026 was its ability to connect Indian manufacturers directly with international buyers. Thousands of structured buyer-seller meetings, export discussions and strategic business interactions took place throughout the exhibition, enabling companies—particularly MSMEs—to explore new global markets and strengthen export partnerships.

The exhibition also witnessed active participation from key government institutions including the Central Public Works Department (CPWD)Government e-Marketplace (GeM)Department of CommerceMinistry of Housing & Urban Affairs, CAPEXIL and several MSME stakeholders. Industry conferences on the future of the real estate sector, global trade opportunities and sustainable infrastructure further strengthened knowledge sharing between policymakers, industry leaders and businesses.

India’s construction sector currently contributes nearly 9% of the country’s GDP, supports more than 51 million jobs, and is expected to cross USD 1 trillion over the next decade, driven by investments in housing, infrastructure, industrial corridors, logistics parks, smart cities and urban development. Bharat Buildcon reflected this growth story by bringing together every stakeholder across the construction value chain under one roof.
