Bollywood director Avnish Kumar is working hard for his next script. As he believes in telling real story through his film, he is traveling the country to observe the diversity and challenges of a common man in India.
Director Avnish Kumar is a pass out from Satyajit Ray Films and Television Institute, Kolkata. He has assisted veteran director Prakash Jha in several projects. His first film Tujhe Salaam India was also based on the socio-political culture of today’s India.
He belongs to a farmer family from a village in Bihar, so he has vision and awareness about the challenges present in rural India which makes up to 70 percent of India’ population.
Avanish Kumar believes that in a country like India where watching a film is almost like a ritual, especially among the youth, film makers should serve social and moral values to the audience along with entertainment.
Being from the village, Avnish Kumar will continue to tell stories of the common man through the medium of the big screen. After the release of his first film, he is working hard for his next film. Also he is directing AD films for many corporate companies. His upcoming film may be based on Renjangla war.
Avnish Kumar says that the main purpose of my appearing in films was to raise voice against the wrong doings happening in the society and also to make people aware about it.
