Artworks Showcasing the Talent of Artists on the Occasion of International Women’s Day

New Delhi [India], March 6: Pink Iron III and Maati II exhibitions organized by Vimla Art Forum concluded with a grand finale ceremony at AIFACS Art Gallery, marking the successful conclusion of this prestigious artistic event. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor, AAFT University, joined us as the Chief Guest to felicitate and recognize the creative talent of the participating artists. Sandeep Marwah said that the event will serve as a tribute to the outstanding contribution of women artists in shaping the contemporary and folk art landscape in India.

Kanchan Mehra, Founder, Vimla Arts, emphasized that the exhibition not only highlights contemporary art but also seeks to establish a platform for emerging and deserving artists in both contemporary and folk art fields. the vision aims to provide opportunities to young artists to showcase their talent and receive scholarships that will help them pursue their artistic careers. Director of the Institute, Dilip Sharma, shared that the institute provides an invaluable space for young artists, promoting their growth in the world of art.

Among the invited artists were renowned contemporary artists like Anwar, Ashok Bhowmick, Yusuf, Hiren Thakur, Shyam Bihari Agarwal (Padma Shri), Ajit Dubey, Shovin Bhattacharya, Bipin Kumar, Mayur Gupta, Kalicharan, Kamalkant, Rajesh Srivastava, Manhar Kapadia, Dilip Sharma, Suresh K. Nair, Vishwanath Sable, Swati, Satish Sharma, Satish Kale, Anoop Chand, Bhagat Singh, Anand Dabli and Javed. Works of Arvind Singh, Bhuvaneshwar Bhaskar, Pankaj Tiwari, Pankaj Sharma, and Vivek Das among others, were also on display, along with the country’s renowned sculptor Ramesh Bisht.

The closing ceremony will bring together eminent artists, critics, journalists, and art lovers to deliberate on the artistic journey showcased in the exhibitions. The event will showcase the artistic diversity of traditional folk styles, modern experimental techniques, and thought-provoking themes that connect India’s cultural heritage with contemporary expressions.

After the ceremony, all the exhibited artworks will be moved to Noida Film City Marwah Studios from the evening of March 6 to March 8, 2025. This extended display will provide a unique opportunity for students and art lovers to engage with the masterpieces, fostering deeper artistic dialogue and appreciation. It will further strengthen the platform for emerging and established artists to gain wider recognition and encourage future collaborations in the Indian art sector.
