Sri Charan Souhardha Co-operative Bank Registers ₹3.06 Crore Profit
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], July 11: Sri Charan Souhardha Co-operative Bank, one of the leading co-operative banks in the sector, has recorded a profit of ₹3.06 crore for the quarter ending July 31 of the current financial year.
The bank’s Founder and Chairman, B.V. Dwarakanath, presented the annual financial statement at the 30th Annual General Body Meeting held at Vidyashree Vidyavihara Auditorium, Pampa Mahakavi Road, Shankarpuram. During the corresponding period of the previous financial year, the bank had registered a profit of ₹2.92 crore.
Addressing the gathering, B.V. Dwarakanath said that Sri Charan Souhardha Co-operative Bank continues to function as a customer-friendly institution while maintaining steady profitability. He noted that the bank has significantly reduced its non-performing assets (NPAs) and has been giving priority to easy loan facilities and customer-oriented banking services.
On the occasion, the bank felicitated the children of its members who secured more than 95% marks in the 2024–25 SSLC and PUC examinations with Merit Awards in recognition of their academic excellence.
Renowned writer and quiz master Dr. Na. Someshwar, who is well known for hosting the Guinness World Record-winning quiz programme That Antha Heli on Doordarshan Chandana, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, he said that learning is the key to success and that today’s hard work lays the foundation for tomorrow’s achievements. He urged students to value time, maintain discipline, make reading their best companion, and pursue their goals with clarity, adding that success is certain when one’s purpose is well defined.
Film producer and bank customer B.K. Srinivas was also present on the occasion.
A cultural programme titled “Sangeetha Vaibhava”, presented by Kumari Diya Hegde and her team, captivated the audience.
