New Delhi (India), March 20: Yuva Unstoppable founder Amitabh Shah and SGS organised a delegation of philanthropists
One such focus plan that Shri Rupalaji brought up and discussed with Amitabh Shah’s delegation was the Government of India’s recently announced Vibrant Villages Program (VVP). The program envisages comprehensive development of villages on the Northern border that have limited connectivity & infrastructure and often get left out of the country’s progress story. The proposed financial allocation of Rs 4800 crore will create essential infrastructure and livelihood opportunities across 46 border blocks covering 4 states and 1 union territory over phases. “Improving the quality of life in these distant villages will encourage locals to stay in their native locations and remain connected to their roots and history. This will also ensure the country’s safety and economic development happens through local resources, encouragement of local art & culture, tourism and skill development & entrepreneurship for women and youth” – Shri Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
Support and development of youth in these areas brought forth the dynamic journey of Amitabh Shah started Yuva Unstoppable. An NGO dedicated to providing opportunities and resources for youth to encourage them to become successful and contributing citizens of India. Yuva Unstoppable’s programs support these future leaders through various development programs spread across 14 states that focus on their education & literacy, providing them access to smart classrooms & technology and provision of education scholarships ensuring a reduction in dropouts. “I believe in the power of youth to propel India’s growth story further. We at Yuva Unstoppable want to maximise their potential by providing them as many opportunities as we can to nurture this force. I am humbled by Shri Parshottamji’s commitment towards the development and are privileged to work with him under his guidance and support towards a more vibrant India” – Amitabh Shah, Founder – Yuva Unstoppable. The Hon’ble Minister heard the story and journeys of 2 Yuva Unstoppable scholarship students who despite difficult circumstances, are continuing their education and on the path to achieving their dreams. Rupalaji encouraged the children to believe in themselves, dream and aspire to be successful and contributing members of society.
Appreciating the zeal and dedication of Amitabh Shah, Rupalaji felt that focusing on the real issues and coming up with practical and sustainable solutions is the key success area matrix for Yuva Unstoppable. He appreciated the efforts put in by corporates such as SGS through their CSR programs to work towards a more developed India.
