Ananthapuramu, July 17, 2026: In a significant boost to technology and cyber infrastructure in the district, Fortinet, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity companies, donated 20 high-end laptops worth ₹10lakhs to the Ananthapuramu Police under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The laptops were formally handed over to Ananthapuramu District Superintendent of Police Mr. P. Jagadish, IPS, at a function held at the Police Headquarters today. The donation was presented by Mr. Kishore, Managing Director of Fortinet India , along with Mr. A. G. Anil Kumar, AGS Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kishore said that Fortinet is committed to supporting institutions that are working towards building a safer and technologically empowered society. He announced that the company would be donating another batch of laptops worth ₹20 lakhs within the next ten days, further strengthening the technological capabilities of the district police.
He stated that the support would play a crucial role in enhancing the infrastructure of the Rakshak School and strengthening the Cyber Crime Command and Control Centre, enabling the police department to better address emerging cyber security challenges and improve digital learning facilities.
Receiving the laptops, SP Mr. P. Jagadish, IPS, expressed his gratitude to Fortinet and AGS Foundation for their valuable contribution. He said that the equipment would significantly enhance the district police’s cybercrime response capabilities and support various technology-driven initiatives being undertaken by the department.
The SP specially thanked Mr. Kishore of Fortinet for the generous CSR support and appreciated the efforts of Mr. A. G. Anil Kumar, whose initiative and coordination helped make the partnership possible. He noted that collaborations between responsible corporate organizations and public institutions are essential for building stronger community infrastructure and improving public service delivery.
The donation marks the beginning of a larger collaboration aimed at strengthening cyber security infrastructure, digital education, and technology-enabled policing in Ananthapuramu district.
