CD Foundation Celebrates 11th Annual Day with Global Gathering at Taj Surajkund, Launches Golden Years Global

Diplomacy, culture, wellness, tourism, and international collaboration came together in an elegant setting at Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR, as CD Foundation celebrated its 11th Annual Day  Coffee Morning with Multiple Countries.

The high-profile gathering brought together diplomats, foreign dignitaries, institutional representatives, academia, healthcare experts, hospitality leaders, entrepreneurs, tourism stakeholders, and media for discussions centred around cultural diplomacy, global engagement, entrepreneurship, wellness, and people-to-people collaboration.

Over the last 11 years, CD Foundation has curated more than 100 international initiatives across 45+ countries in collaboration with embassies, universities, hospitality groups, tourism stakeholders, healthcare experts, and global institutions, steadily building a strong relationship-driven international platform.

A major highlight of the morning was the launch of:

GOLDEN YEARS GLOBAL

Ageing with Dignity  Travel, Wellness & Culture

a new initiative by CD Foundation focused on premium elderly wellness, assisted luxury travel, cultural engagement, and meaningful experiences for senior generations.

The initiative was formally unveiled by Mrs. Sumita Das, Dr. Prasun Chatterjee, and Mr. Kazem Samandari, Executive Chairman & Co-Founder of LOpéra India, with the launch becoming one of the most visually appreciated moments of the event.

Speaking during the programme, Dr. Prasun Chatterjee, Group Clinical Lead  Geriatric Medicine & Longevity Science, Apollo Hospitals and WHO Advisory Member, highlighted the increasing global importance of conversations around longevity, wellbeing, and quality of life for senior generations.

The programme also featured a Special Address by H.E. Mr. Wang Xinming, Minister Counsellor (Culture), Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China, who appreciated CD Foundations growing international engagement initiatives and expressed interest in future Indo-cultural collaboration and people-to-people exchange.

A strong emphasis was also placed on youth engagement, entrepreneurship, and academic collaboration. Prof Kumar Ashutosh from DCEE, University of Delhi, highlighted the importance of stronger partnerships between academia, tourism ecosystems, entrepreneurship platforms, and international institutions to create meaningful opportunities for future generations.

Guests were hosted with a specially curated hospitality experience by Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR, whose elegant ambience and elaborate gourmet spread added significantly to the experience of the gathering.
