Sameen Hasan Honoured with “Bharat Samman 2025” for Exemplary Social Service

New Delhi [India], August 27: Sameen Hasan, A resident of Patna Bihar Surya Vihar Apartment flat 604 and the Founder of Eksathi Foundation, has been felicitated with the prestigious “Bharat Samman 2025” by the Government of India in association with the Global Excellence Forum. The glittering award ceremony was held at Le Meridien, New Delhi.

With over five years of dedicated social work, Sameen Hasan and his team have been actively working across the slum areas of Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. Their initiatives include health and hygiene awareness programmes, food distribution drives, menstrual health education for young women, and organizing free health check-up camps in collaboration with renowned doctors from local communities.

Recognized as a great counsellor and thought leader, Sameen Hasan had earlier received the Indian Icon Award by the Government of India during the G20 Summit, further highlighting his remarkable contribution towards nation-building.

The award ceremony was graced by several distinguished personalities, including Hon’ble Shri Nyato Dukam, Cabinet Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of Arunachal Pradesh; Hon’ble Shri Dr. Ravindra Narayan Bahera, Member of Parliament; Hon’ble Shri B.L. Verma, Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India; and Hon’ble Shri Abdul Samad, Senior Coordinator, Haj Committee Uttar Pradesh, among many other dignitaries.

The Bharat Samman 2025 award, comprising a trophy and certificate, was presented to Sameen Hasan by the Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Nyato Dukam, in recognition of his exemplary contributions to society and his unwavering commitment to social welfare and community development at both national and global levels.
