Spanning across 29 villages from Vikashnagar to Yamunotri, the event saw over a thousand women farmers enthusiastically participating, pledging their dedication to cultivate approximately 53 herbal Ayurvedic medicinal plants indigenous to the region. This collaborative effort bridges the gap between traditional knowledge and modern agricultural practices, rejuvenating the sacred Yamuna Valley and fostering a sustainable future.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with the distribution of Sarpgandha and Ashwagandha seeds, symbolizing respect for ancient herbal remedies and a commitment to preserving native plant species.
