New Delhi [India] August 22: On the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day, the ‘Udaan Ek Pehal Foundation’ organized a grand event, ‘Ek Shaam Desh Ke Naam,’ at Mandi House in Delhi. The event celebrated the spirit of patriotism and recognized individuals who have made significant contributions to society and business.
The highlight of the evening was the prestigious ‘Shahid Bhagat Singh Noble Award,’ presented to Satyam Kumar for being the ‘Best Growing Business of the Year 2024.’ This accolade was awarded by Padma Shri recipient Jitendra Singh Santy and Commando Surendra Singh, a former MLA from Delhi Cantt and one of the real-life heroes of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
The event was graced by notable figures, including Yadvinder Singh Sandhu, the grandson of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, and the former Chief Justice of India, Honorable K.G. Balakrishnan. Their presence added to the significance of the ceremony, reinforcing the connection between India’s past sacrifices and present achievements.
