Utilizing items such as paper, wrappers, jute, and plastic bottles, the students demonstrated their innovative spirit and commitment to environmental stewardship.
During the event, Ananthapuram Anil Kumar praised Mr. Kishore’s efforts to conduct such competitions in rural government schools, emphasizing the importance of encouraging young minds to think critically about waste management. The students produced a variety of impressive items, with the highlight being a drip irrigation tree guard crafted from recycled wastewater bottles. Anil Kumar advocated for the widespread implementation of these tree guards across the district to combat single-use plastics while optimizing water usage—an essential resource in the region.
