Minister P. Rajeev Launches Chilton’s New Energy-Efficient Free Hot Water Heat Pump Chiller to the market

Kochi (Kerala) [India], December 2: Chilton Refrigeration, a leading industrial process chiller manufacturer based in Kerala, has launched an innovative product, the Heat Pump Chiller. Designed for industrial applications, the Heat Pump Chiller is a refrigerator that provides both cold water and free hot water simultaneously. The modern and innovative product was launched as a part of the company’s 40th anniversary. Industry Minister P. Rajeev launched the product at the event held at the Kakkanad REC Club.

For the first time globally, a refrigerator with dual operational capacity has been introduced to the market. Using a tank with a 1000-litre capacity, the Heat Pump Chiller provides 1000 litres of cold water along with 700 litres of hot water, consuming less electricity. The key feature is that it can save up to 68% of electricity.

Minister P Rajeev expressed that Chilton’s innovative product provides excellent support for Kerala’s industrial needs and energy efficiency. The minister also stated that the company’s operations align with the government’s vision of promoting environmentally friendly industrial systems.

P G Chilprakash, the Managing Director and founder of Chilton Refrigeration said that the new heat pump chiller has been designed with the goal of helping industries reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Chilton’s operations focus on promoting sustainable development and environmental conservation. The company’s mission is to provide permanent solutions to the challenges in the refrigeration industry. Celebrating 40 years, the MD stated that the company will increase production capacity in Kerala, creating numerous job opportunities in the process.

The company holds a 30% market share in India’s industrial process chiller sector. The future plan is to increase this share to 50%. The Kochi-based company also has manufacturing units in Ahmedabad and offices at various locations.
