Florida [USA], May 13: Dhivya Bommakanti is an Architect, she works in the Construction Management field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in B. ARCH from CSIIT, Hyderabad and has a master’s degree in construction management from Florida International University. She is 38 years old. She entered the pageantry just to experiment. After receiving the titles, she realized that Pageantry is something beyond glam and glitter. She thinks it is a great platform to boost confidence, strengthen thinking ability and showcase creativity. She believes that the fun-filled process allows one to travel deeper into self-discovery and helps understand the true inner self.
Dhivya lives in Florida. she is Originally from Hyderabad. Her father Mr. Subba Rao served Indian Airforce and later retired from DLRL. Her Mother Mrs. suryakala worked in a sports company for years before retiring. She is Married and her husband who is her biggest supporter is a Transportation Engineer by Profession. She has a 12-year-old daughter who constantly motivates her.
“As a child, I grew up on an Air Force base and defense quarters. I am always thankful for the ways military life has shaped me and made me who I am today. It taught me how to be adaptable. I was raised with a love for the country. Being a military kid means you usually live around other military families, the actual heroes. It is a very special feeling, being around men and women who were brave and courageous. I learned to value life and people. Life is temporary; we should cherish every moment and keep them in our memories forever.” Says Dhivya
From walking as a model in New York Fashion week to making appearances in community events, pageantry has opened doors to many opportunities for her. She states that pageants are for empowered people, who have a vision to make themselves better, and to empower others to do so. She expresses pride in representing South Asia. Her journey from the Miss Bharat Florida to Miss South Asia World pageants was incredible.
For her, making friends along the way and learning their inspirational stories was an amazing experience. She believes that the determination and preparation that went into pageantry made her more organized and it taught her many things. She is grateful to Mydream TV USA and Bollyflo media for providing the wonderful platforms. Dhivya likes art, music, dance, and travel. She is an animal and nature lover who is Interested in interior designing, Fashion designing and exploring sustainable building materials.
She believes that if you work hard enough for something and believe you can do it, you will be able to achieve it, she encourages everyone to become part of this fantastic voyage and keep their dreams and passions alive by believing in the power of this universal law of attraction.
