Ayodhya:The first anniversary of the consecration of Lord Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple was celebrated today with immense devotion and enthusiasm. Thousands of devotees thronged Ayodhya to mark this auspicious occasion, following the historic inauguration of the temple last year.
The temple premises hosted grand rituals, bhajan-kirtan sessions, and cultural programs, drawing enthusiastic participation from devotees across the country. Priests conducted ceremonial havan and a special aarti to honor Lord Ram Lalla, adding to the sanctity of the day.
Renowned writer and social activist Aditya Tikku also visited the temple on this special day. Reflecting on the experience, he said, “The Ram Temple is not just a religious site but a symbol of our culture, heritage, and pride. The peace and inspiration one feels here are beyond words.” Tikku had also attended the nine-day Ram Katha held during last year’s consecration ceremony and stayed in Ayodhya for two weeks.
Cultural performances organized for devotees further elevated the grandeur of the celebration, filling the city with an air of devotion. Temple priests emphasized that this annual event would continue to be celebrated with the same fervor and dedication.
