Indian-origin film producer Sandip Patel is steadily building a strong presence in both Hollywood and Bollywood through ambitious international productions and global industry collaborations. Based in Augusta, Patel has been actively promoting his banner SRHP Films on international platforms, with the recent Cannes Film Festival becoming another important milestone in his growing journey.
During his visit to Cannes, Sandip Patel represented SRHP Films in connection with the upcoming Hollywood feature Holy Father. The film is directed by Shravan Tiwari and stars acclaimed Hollywood actors Eric Roberts and Mary Lyrette. The project attracted attention among international film professionals attending the festival due to its global scale and cinematic approach.
Apart from promoting Holy Father, Patel also celebrated another major milestone with the launch ceremony of the Hollywood film Sundown Town, which took place in the United States on May 23, 2026. Directed by Shravan Tiwari, the film is being produced by Sandip Patel and Rita Patel and is currently scheduled for release in 2027.
Industry insiders at Cannes also noticed Patel’s active involvement in networking sessions and international market discussions. As a member of the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association, he received guidance and insights into global film business opportunities from IMPPA Vice President Atul Patel.
Patel also connected with award-winning photographer and digital marketing executive Ashvin Borad, who was honoured at the Filmfare India International Film Festival. Their discussions reportedly focused on expanding the international reach of Indian cinema while exploring opportunities in worldwide distribution and cross-cultural collaborations.
